Here is a golden opportunity for you to get connected to your peers from different schools in Bangalore City. To encourage professional interaction between teachers from different schools in a locality and to facilitate exchange of thoughts and ideas, The Teacher Foundation is organizing another "Afternoons with TTF", this month in Bangalore. "Afternoons with TTF" enable focussed small group interactions. Therefore the learnings from these sessions would be more personal and internalized. "Afternoons with TTF" are free and open for teachers of Bangalore City Schools.

The topic for the upcoming Afternoons with TTF will be 'Student Misconceptions in Learning'. For this AWTTF, we are using a set of videos developed by Wipro, Educational Initiative and India Today as a part of a National Research on teaching and learning in our schools. They capture how our students make sense or 'mis sense' of key concepts in different topics. A discussion is planned around the videos, to help teachers understand how misconceptions hamper learning and what teachers can do about it.
