The Teacher Foundation is organizing another Afternoons with TTF in Bangalore. The purpose of hosting these sessions is to encourage interaction between teachers from different schools and facilitate exchange of thoughts and ideas. There would be a different theme for each month. They enable focused small group interactions. Therefore the learnings from these sessions would be more personal and internalized. They are free and open for teachers of Bangalore City Schools. Individual teachers can attend any 'Afternoons With T T F' of their choice.

    Afternoons with TTF on
    The Mystery Factor

You can't touch it, but it affects how you feel. You can't see it, but it's there when you look at yourself in the mirror. You can't hear it, but it's there every time you talk about yourself. What is this important but “mysterious” thing?

If students are demonstrating self-defeating behaviours, such as quitting, or not trying, or acting like the class clown or class bully, we must recognize these are a result of that “mysterious” factor. We, as educators must ask ourselves as to how we could minimize the despair these youngsters experience every single day.

We will then throw open the floor for an animated discussion with teachers.
